Legal filing requirements:

It is not compulsory for Sole Proprietorships to prepare formal financial statements. Sole Proprietorships are registered by the State Tax Committee and there are no published registers.

All types of Partnerships, Limited Liability Companies, Private and Public Joint Stock Companies, Credit Unions, NGOs and Cooperatives, must prepare financial statements and be registered by state authorities. Registration lists are not published and access to company information by the public is difficult and limited.

Financial statements are generally available if the company is a Public Joint Stock Company. Company must publish financial results in one of the local gazettes. Year end financial statements are available from June 1st of the current year from the Center for Coordination of Securities.
