How can I obtain a Business Information Report ?
To obtain a report, email
. You can subscribe to D&B and be given access to DBAI, which is a system where
you can download and order reports via the Internet. Alternatively, you can
buy a one-off report for which you do not have to subscribe, however, access
to DBAI will not be given and we will order the reports for you. In both instances
you will receive your report by email.
How long does it take to receive a Business Information Report?
We have different speeds for our reports depending on the region. You
can expect to receive Central & Eastern Europe, Mediterranean and Atlantic reports within 4 days.
I would like a Business Information Report in country. How do I go about
this?
The country from where you require a report influences how you order it.
Please email
or telephone +44 (0)1494 422283 - we will be able to advise you of the procedure.
We have distributors working as representatives of D&B in some countries and
therefore you will be directed to them to obtain your report. In the countries

Do you offer a priority service?
We offer on standard speed of service of 4 or 6 days, depending on the region
and although it is not advertised as a priority service as such, it is very
competitive.
What is a D-U-N-S® Number and how do I get one?
A D-U-N-S Number is a unique numbering system used by D&B to identify each
individual company. No company will have the same D-U-N-S Number and once you
have been assigned one you will be identified by it for as long as we have a
record on your company. To get a D-U-N-S Number assigned to your company, send
an email to
. You will be sent a questionnaire and once you have filled it in and sent it
back to us your DUNS will be available in 48 hours.
I ordered a Business Information Report but have not received it, can you
give me the D-U-N-S Number?
In some cases the D-U-N-S Number for the company you have made a request
on will be available before you receive the report. This is because we already
hold a record on the subject and a D-U-N-S Number has been previously assigned.
In some cases your request will be on a company for which we currently hold
no data and we will assign a new D-U-N-S Number as it is an original report.
We will not be able to provide a D-U-N-S Number until the investigation has
been finished and the report is ready, as the D-U-N-S Number assignment is the
last part of the procedure. The wait, however, will only be 4 or 6 days depending
on what region the company is based in.
Can I cancel an enquiry?
You can cancel an enquiry once you have placed your investigation request but
there are some guidelines as to how and when this should be done. As we work
to such a fast speed of service the investigation will be started as soon as
it is received, therefore a cancellation can only be accepted if it is within
24 hours of the enquiry being placed. To cancel an investigation an email providing
full details of the order can be sent to
.
Can I see a copy of the Business Information Report for my company?
How do I do this? Is it free?
You can see a sample of the report for your company and yes, it is free. To
request a copy please send an email to
and a draft report will be sent to you.
